Equipo Navazos Colet Navazos Extra Brut

“What is the meaning of life if you love fizzy wine and sherry? This is. Madly complex sparkling wine that we should just keep for ourselves, but seeing as it's you, we'll share. Sniff up the peaches, almonds and lemons. Dry to the core with a fizz you'll want to keep in your mouth all night and make a part of your nutty dreams.”

Bodegas Ximénez Spínola Fermentacion Lenta

“Put this in the fridge with all the chains around it and the big padlock that you only have the key for. We wouldn't blame you for not sharing this because we wouldn't either. Up the nose comes starfruit, old books, bruised apple, yellow pears and in the mouth is enough texture and interest to block the Suez canal. Boss level white wine!”

Atelier Kramar Bohem

“Wake up and smell the roses they say. Well, we say what about the melons and the gooseberries and the vanilla and the flint smoke and the herbs and the cider apples too! A forget-me-not, Slovene, skin contact wine with just a little funky funk.”

Il Borghetto Bilaccio

“Another Sangiovese from Chianti where the winemaker doesn't want to be shackled by the Chianti Classico regulations and has done his own thing. And what a thing he's done! Leather, smoke, dried cherry, blackcurrant, plums, liquorice, balsamic, clove, anise, dark chocolate, the finest of tannins and refreshing acidity. Just incredible. And it'll keep for a few years...”

Chateau Megyer Szamorodni aged under flor

“One of our best-kept secrets and all-time favourites. A dry sherry-esq. wine that tastes so good we all fell off our tasting chairs. Citric, floral, flint-smoked, honeyed and with plenty of nuttiness, if you like Fino sherry you will LOVE this.”
