Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Certified Biodynamic, Certified Organic
Even though they don’t have a large house on the label these two Bordeaux wines are true class. These Chateaux are future-proofing their operations by treating the earth well. The respect for the land they farm is evidently giving back in spades. The wines have a traditional style but no grandiose point to prove.
Château Ferran Saint-Pierre’s Tucaou offers a fresher style of Bordeaux wine that harks back to a far older era. Château Les Graves de Viaud’s wine ‘Terroir’ provides a wine with more volume once it’s in your mouth and a certain rustic nature that’s all charm.
This case offers the perfect opportunity to have two options at the table that are worthy talking points …. should the wine topic arise.
