Three times a Brandy

Three times a Brandy

£105.00 Inc. Vat

Three different types of brandy, three different styles, from three differnet countries and three thousand (or more) different ways you can drink them. Each of these holds it own. Shake up a pisco sour, chow down a brandy alexander or just sip neat. We will let you think of the rest.

  • Vecchia Romagna Riserva Tre Botti 1820

“An Italian brandy that got us excited! So thank you Vecchia Romagna for the inspiration! Lovely flavours and aromas of bruised bananas, hazelnuts and a touch of milk chocolate all rumbling down south to finish with green wood and orange peel. A diamond in the rough.”

  • Louis Royer VS

“Dangerously smooth, and elegantly fresh. Notes of orange blossom, raisins, dried apricot and caramel, followed by vanilla that round things up. This is golden sultanas in liquid form; nectar from the Cognac gods!”

  • Domus Grappa Nebbiolo De Barolo

“Grappa can be a bit of a minefield of quality and flavour but Domus has put real care into mastering their art. This is their more traditional style made from Nebbiolo grapes. With aromas and flavours of pears, clove, sesame and almond, it's a great way to cap a big meal.”

MEET THE PRODUCERS

Domus

I started working on this project with the determination of sharing the grappa from the area, the region and ultimately the country where I come from. Being a bartender and Italian, I always wanted to see more grappa in the bars around the world and I would love to be able to order a nice grappa or a cocktail with grappa wherever I go. My goal is to share what I know about this wonderful spirit, share all those nice grapes that are used to produce small but extremely nice grappas. Domus in Latin means home, and it’s called so because the aroma of grappa reminds of my home when I was a kid back in Italy. Domus is an artisanal grappa produced in small batches, a grappa created to be drunk neat or in cocktails.
