Essential 3 -Winter Reds

Essential 3 -Winter Reds

£38.00 Inc. Vat

What better way to spend those long wintery evenings or chilly autumnal afternoons than with a glass of red?

We’ve a smokey Garnacha full of spice and dark berry flavours.

A benchmark Malbec from the grape’s ancestral home in Cahors, France.

And a smooth, complex yet easy-drinking Cab from one of Chile’s finest.

  • Manyol Crianza

“Sultry and smokey with vanilla, spice and dark berry fruit, this low intervention wine is a barbequed dishes' best friend. Nicely refreshing, but still rich and deep. A go-to wine for lazy afternoons spent avoiding the smoke plumes from the small inferno lit by your pyromaniac mate, acting as 'chef' for the day.”

  • Clos siguier Vieilles Vignes "Les Camille" Malbec

“An elegant and refined Malbec, made from very high quality, old vine, grapes. Intense blueberry, damson and leather flavours come together with an alluring dusty texture and fresh acidity. Further to this, it's crunchy, floral and a little meaty too. A complete winner!”

  • Casas del Bosque Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva

“Does what it says on the tin and really satisfies. You can't often beat Chile for value and this is a wonderful exponent of that. Blackcurrants, good acid and tannins ease you in. Like a very comfortable pair of well-priced trousers, you got from Asos, that look fly too.”
