Up the party anti with our premium New Year’s wines. There’s an impeccable sparkling wine made the Champagne way, from one of South Africa’s best producers. Exceptional white with texture and finesse that also go down too easily. And a pair of reds, rich and round, fruity and moreish.

  • Bon Courage Wine Estate Jacques Bruére Cap Classique Brut Reserve × 2

“A lovely, easy-drinking, sunny sparkler made the way they do it in that area of France we're all so fond of. What's great about S.A. sparkling is you get the extra fruitiness from the sunshine (like p-secco) but still with that biscuity thing champagne has, cos it's made the same way. Bit of a bargain... and check out the age on it - impressive!”

  • Lobethal Road Pinot Gris × 2

“The cooler weather of the Adelaide hills really helps to turn out some incredible wine. This wine is dry, subtle and textural experience with a character like nashi pears, honeysuckle and gingerbread from a distance.”

  • Post House Missing Virgin × 2

“Smooth as a vaseline covered chinchilla wearing a velvet smoking jacket and Gucci loafers. How do they get Pinotage to taste this awesome? Well done Post House. Nailing it.”

MEET THE PRODUCERS

Post House

Post House Cellars derives its name from the small Post Office which used to serve the local missionary community of Raithby and which is now the winery office and residence. It was consequently a logical step to associate the wine with its postal origin. The farm was bought by the Gebers family in 1981 in the picturesque area between the towns of Somerset West and Stellenbosch and is situated at the foothills of the Helderberg Mountain. On a clear day, Cape Point and False Bay are visible from the winery. This area is one of the preeminent wine regions in South Africa.
