Pinotage can be a minefield. In the wrong hands, it’s all mud and burning tyres. Here though, we have a pair (or several pairs, actually) of very right hands. Yes, it has that characteristic earthy flavour, but it never dominates. Cassis, black cherry and plum flavours take centre stage with all the right bits in the right places. A genuinely fine example that never disappoints.
