On a whim, Sue and Greg White decided to give up their corporate jobs and explore the world via yacht. Anchored off Marlborough after six months at sea, they quickly fell in love with the area’s beauty and decided to settle permanently. Selling their boat, they established Whitehaven in 1994 with a commitment to produce outstanding wine from quality fruit in sustainable manner.
