Description

Big-hearted and bold, Le Brave Cairanne is Southern Rhône at its rustic best. Crafted by Guillaume Gonnet, this French red wine doesn’t shy away from flavour – it strides in, cloak billowing, glass in hand.

On the nose, it’s a riot of cassis and grenadine, laced with that signature garrigue spice – rosemary, thyme, and wild Provençal herbs. The palate dials things up: kirsch-soaked cherries, fig jam, stewed blackberries, liquorice and a dab of black olive tapenade for that glorious savoury depth.

But don’t let the intensity fool you – this wine knows how to behave. Velvety-soft tannins keep it smooth and structured, with a finish that lingers like the last rays of a Mediterranean sunset.

A perfect red to accompany slow-roasted lamb, spiced aubergines, or a solo evening with a slab of dark chocolate. Cairanne rarely gets this classy – or this comforting.
