The nose is rich and floral, full of fresh and dried rose petals, violets, and bursts of wild strawberry and raspberry. There’s a decadent layer of cherry jam, dark chocolate, and warming spice – think clove, black pepper and nutmeg. On the palate, it’s warming and structured, with refined tannins and a lift of acidity that keeps things fresh.
