Description

Like its non-rosé sister, this easy-sipping summery fizz has all the right raspberry and strawberry notes to add to that lovely balanced fruitiness. Another Jaques Bruére with some proper age to it, that biscuitiness from it being made the same way as champagne is present and correct. Who needs pink champers when Cap Classique offers so much?

MEET THE PRODUCERS

Bon Courage Wine Estate

Nestled amongst the grapevines and rose bushes of South Africa’s beautiful Robertson Valley, Bon Courage Estate produces some of the finest wines this prestigious region has to offer.

With a multitude of soil types deposited by the rivers that run through it and with the many microclimates these bodies of water create, Bon Courage Estate is home to a wide range of grape varieties that make wines of great depth and concentration.

Since 1927 the estate has benefitted from the passionate hard work and dedication of 3 generations of the Bruwer family. André Bruwer, owner and viticulturist, acknowledges that good wine is grown and has put enormous effort into matching the right variety with the right soil type.

While tradition and generations-old methodology is greatly respected, Andre and his Cellar Master son Jacques have embraced and carefully interwoven modern techniques into the estate’s winemaking processes. It is by balancing the old and the new carefully and sympathetically that they nurture creative flexibility that shines through their wines.
