Description

Brioche bread used to be for dipping in coffee, now it’s wrapped around every burger going. That bit of bakery is exactly the smell you get from this Champagne. There’s no patty and sauce in this bun thankfully just; lemon curd, pear, lime zestiness and apricot. Not that we are doctors but this should be taken every evening before dinner, where possible.

MEET THE PRODUCERS

René Jolly

Located in Landreville in Côte des Bar, Champagne René Jolly is a family owned business with a history dating back to 1737. The winey only produces champagnes from its own vineyards and has 14 hectares split between 5 family owned fields. These are planted 75% to Pinot Noir and 25% to Chardonnay. The vineyards are treated organically with no chemical fertilisers, all grapes are hand harvested as late as possible.
